1. SUP Tahoe
SUP Tahoe is on the way to several beaches near Emerald Bay in South Tahoe. You can rent a standup paddleboard, single kayak, or double kayak. Paddleboards and kayaks start at $50 for the day.
They’re currently open from 10 am to 5:30 pm. They’re located at 871 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.

2. Tahoe Waterman
Further north on Carnelian Bay, is Tahoe Watermans Landing. Tahoe Waterman offers paddleboard, kayak, and canoe rentals by the hour or for days at a time. They also teach classes and have an in-house cafe!
They’re located right on the water near Patton Beach. Check them out at 5166 N Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay, CA 96140.

3. Tahoe City Kayak & Paddleboard
Tahoe City Kayak & Paddleboard is located near the shore of northwest Lake Tahoe. They’re located between Tahoe Marina Lakefront and Tahoe City Beach (521 N Lake Blvd Tahoe City, CA 96145).
They rent out paddleboards and kayaks from May through October. They’re close to the water, which makes launching easy.

4. Sand Harbor Rentals
Sand Harbor is located on the northeast side of Lake Tahoe. Sand Harbor Rentals is affiliated with Tahoe City Kayak & Paddleboard. It’s located at Sand Harbor State Park’s Boat Ramp. Being right on the water makes rentals from here super convenient.
They also rent out paddleboards and kayaks. You can make reservations in advance online, which is recommended because they sell out quickly, or just walk up. Once you have your rental, you can immediately hit the water!

5. Adrift Tahoe
Adrift Tahoe is located on the north shore of the lake near Kings Beach. They rent and sell paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes. You can choose to rent hourly or daily.
They’re conveniently located right across the street from Kings Beach, which makes taking boards out a breeze (8338 North Lake Blvd, Kings Beach, CA 96143).
Bonus, they also have a shaved ice stand connected to their shop!
