2. Fishing

Bring your fishing equipment with you and have some fun in Lake Tahoe. Apart from Lake Tahoe itself, there are several rivers, streams, and smaller lakes around where you can fish. If you choose to fish from the rivers, it is advisable to take extra caution since water levels rise from time to time and move at high speed, which could be risky. The water is freezing, so it is also good to dress appropriately when going out to fish in the rivers around the area.
