Spend The Day River Rafting

Lake Tahoe attracts hordes of tourists, but that's not your only option! The Truckee River offers just as much activity on the water. Go river rafting with the original Tahoe raft company, Truckee River Rafting, that's been around since 1973.

Truckee River Rafting provides the rafts, paddles, and life vests you'll need for a three-hour adventure down the Truckee River. You'llu’ll float down the water from Tahoe City to the River Ranch Restaurant. The Truckee River offers scenic views and rapids easy enough for anyone to handle. 

This is a self-guided excursion that anyone of all ages can participate in. You can rent rafts that fit two to eight people. You'reu’re welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks aboard the rafts.

When you reach River Ranch, there will be a shuttle that will take you back to Tahoe City. Back in Tahoe City, River Grill is right on the water and a perfect way to end the day with food and drinks. 

Once the weather warms up, Truckee River Rafting will rent out rafts and gear daily from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The last return shuttles will depart at 5:30 pm.

To river raft, it costs $65 per adult (13 years and older), $40 for kids (ages 6-12), and is free for kids 2-5 years old. Everyone will be required to sign a waiver before taking off.
