The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is a month-and-a-half long festival that features a live Shakespeare play, along with musicals, ballet, orchestra concerts, and jazz ensembles. This summer, the festival starts on July 1 and continues through August 22.

 

2022 marks the festival’s 50th season! Enjoy live performances at the beautiful outdoor theater located at Sand Harbor that overlooks Lake Tahoe.

 

Here’s a schedule of the shows that you can expect to see this summer:

 

Mamma Mia! 

  • July 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 16, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28 & 30 
  • August 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21

Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing 

  • July 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 17, 19, 20, 23, 29 & 31
  • August 3, 6, 11, 14, 17 & 19

A Nevada State Parks Entrance Pass is required to gain access to and park at the venue. It costs $10 per vehicle per day with an in-state license plate and $15 for out-of-state vehicles. This is required by Nevada law and may be used to access Sand Harbor after 5 pm.
