Ski In Two States At The Same Time

Heavenly Mountain is a prime spot for winter sports on Lake Tahoe. The mountain offers gorgeous sky-high views of the lake while you ski and snowboard. Choose from 97 trails and ride up to 28 chair lifts as you explore all that the mountain has to offer.

The coolest thing about Heavenly Mountain is that it straddles the Nevada-California border. So you can say that you’ve skied from one state to the other! Put one ski in Nevada and the other in California; you’ll be in two places at once. 

Take some lessons before navigating your way around the mountain. Schedule a private lesson, or join the group lessons designed for adults and kids. Lift tickets are available for purchase online too. So, you can schedule your trip ahead of time.

Equipment rentals are available if you don’t have your own. Pick out what you need online, reserve it, and schedule your pickup time.    

If you’re not into skiing or just want to take a break, ride the Scenic Gondola up the mountain. This ride will allow you to see Lake Tahoe from new heights! It makes stops along the way, so you can get out and really take it all in.
