Throw Axes by the Lake

Yosemite Axe Throwing in the South Lake Tahoe area is an experience that brings outdoor fun indoors. Anyone can learn, participate and have fun axe throwing! 

The owner, Nate Hodges is a top-ranked timber sports athlete that has made it part of his business mission to repurpose local pine and cedar as the materials used in this experience. This is the only axe-throwing company in the world that uses already dead trees as targets. These trees are salvaged from natural disasters like drought and wildfires.

During this one-hour session, you’ll learn how to safely throw axes at targets or hone your skills if you’ve thrown them before. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll be accompanied by an axe-throwing professional. Just make sure you show up wearing closed-toed shoes!

This experience costs $30 per person for 1 hour of axe throwing or $25 per person for groups of 6 or more. There are ten throwing lanes at this location. You can book your spot online. 

Yosemite Axe Throwing South Lake Tahoe is located at 3979 Lake Tahoe Blvd #1 South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. It’s open Sunday through Friday from 12 to 9 pm and Saturday from 12 to 10pm.
