Ride Through the Skies on This Aerial Tram
Ride Through the Skies on This Aerial Tram
The Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram is a 10-minute ride with 360-degree views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram takes passengers up to 2,000 feet in 10 minutes! It takes visitors to Palisades Tahoe High Camp, where there are hiking trails, a marketplace, and a restaurant.

While you ride up, enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. Once you reach the top, take in more views at 8,200 feet, explore, and see where the 1960 Winter Olympics were held.

Stop by the High Camp Marketplace for a quick cup of coffee, snacks, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. This is a great option if you want to fuel up before taking off on a hike. If you have more time, dine in at the Terrace Restaurant & Bar. This restaurant has expansive views, along with a buffet and bar.

The Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram runs daily from 9 am to 4 pm. You can catch the tram at The Village at Palisades Tahoe, which is west of Lake Tahoe. 1960 Squaw Peak Road,

Olympic Valley, CA 96146.

The tram runs year-round, so this activity is great in the middle of winter or summer!
