Ride an ATV in the Desert

Going on a Lake Tahoe Adventures ATV & RZR tours is a great summertime activity. This is a unique way to explore the land and see sights from locations that are off the beaten path.

Choose your off-road adventure! There are normally two locations where you can start your tour, the Rubicon Trail or the Pine Nut Mountains. Unfortunately, the Rubicon Trail location is currently closed.

The Pine Nut Mountain location offers one excursion, the Ridge Run Tour. This tour is two-hours long and is suitable for beginner and intermediate riders. You’ll explore the Carson Valley high desert with tour guides on an ATV or RZR. Before you head out, professional off-road guides will review how to operate the vehicle of your choice and make sure that you’re comfortable in the driver’s seat.

The Ridge Run Tour takes off at 11 am and 1:30 pm daily. Riding an ATV costs $210, and riding a RZR, which seats up to four people, costs $340. Book your ride here.

You’ll be given a helmet, bandana, and bottle of water for the ride. You’ll need to wear closed-toed shoes, and it’s recommended that you wear full-coverage clothing. 

Also, you must be 21 or older to rent an ATV or RZR. Riders must be 18 or older to drive a RZR and 16 or older to ride an ATV. Driver’s licenses will be checked. To ride with minor passengers, 48” or taller, the driver must be 25 or older.
