The Tahoe Trout Farm has been a prime fishing spot for 75 years. The farm raises Rainbow, Trophy, and Golden Lightning Trout. With two ponds full of fish, you’re always guaranteed to catch something!

This family-owned and operated Trout farm has been a part of locals’ fishing traditions in Tahoe for years. It’s a great place for kids to learn, and it’s guaranteed you won’t go home empty-handed.

They’ll supply you with all of the bait and tackle you’ll need for free, or you can bring your own at no extra charge. You don’t need a fishing license; just show up, and you’re good to go!

They only charge for the fish that you catch and keep. There’s no limit on how much you can catch either. The staff will help you clean them and safely pack them, so you can get home without a mess.

The Tahoe Trout Farm is open for the season usually starting in April and, stays open until October. Check their website for up-to-date information. Anyone can come by to fish from 10am to 5pm daily. Spectators are also welcome to hang out on the benches and decks that surround the ponds.
