Explore the National Automobile Museum in Reno to discover history through cars. There are over 200 cars on display set in scenes that reflect the period in which they were built. You’ll get a feel for what these cars were like back in their heyday.

 

Browse through the enormous collection of classic vehicles that date back to the late 1800s. See cars that have been featured in movies like Titanic. Some were even once owned by celebrities like Sammy Davis Jr., James Dean, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, JFK, and Elvis! 

 

The exhibits feature iconic and unique models of Dodge, Chevy, Chrysler, Ford, Jaguar, Pontiac, Ferrari, Porsche, Lincoln, Bugatti, Rolls Royce, Cadillac, and Mercedes-Benz. 

 

In addition to impressive vehicles, the museum also houses artifacts and memorabilia. View auto repair tools, vintage gas pumps, signage, paintings, and more items that played a role in automobile history.

You may explore the museum on your own at any time or join a guided tour. Guided tours take place at 1:30 pm daily. This tour is about an hour and a half. To experience all that the museum has to offer takes about two hours total.

 

The museum is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
